Why You Should Start Infusing
Definition: infuse implies a pouring in of something that gives new life or significance.
Don’t get me wrong, a good tea doesn’t need all that extra jazz, but let’s face it. We all love extras!
Infusing tea by brewing it with flowers, fruits, spices, herbs, and botanicals in hot or cold water has become a popular trend lately! It’s pretty, its delish and it’s definitely worth a go. Be it mornings or evenings, people are loving the myriad of infused tea flavours that have beneficial properties, render a rich aroma and have an incredible taste. Herbal tea infusions are a great substitute to aerated or fizzy drinks, plus they provide great health benefits. Enriched with a variety of minerals, vitamins, and antioxidants, herbal tea infusions provide great health benefits. If you don’t believe me, ask any naturopath, nutritionist or even Google!
Coffee is so good, I won’t lie. But tea infusions are fast becoming my new obsession. If you want something to warm you up in winter or cool you down in summer, tea infusions are the go-to delicious beverage at any temperature.
Try some of these yummy infusions below:
Superhero tea - Ever tried adding some fresh lemon slices and a cut off of fresh ginger to a peppermint tea? Its divine. Honey and lavender in the mix when it’s hot is a super soothing cup of goodness. Try adding cacao nibs for a choc mint tea infusion.
Concentration tea and some fresh pomegranates and rosemary together in a glass.
The possibilities with tea infusions are endless. You can basically put any fresh fruit and/or herbs that you have together and try it.
Magic flower tea – I love the taste of elderflower itself, but if you add fresh strawberries and raspberries into a cooled cup of elderflower tea, you will have one seriously delish tea infusion in your hands. Try combining magic flower and superhero tea for something different.
Fancy a tea with a kick?
Brew some Magic Flower tea, leave to cool, add fresh lemon slices and VODKA! A healthy way to heal your sinuses.
You’re welcome. xx
